Dr. S. Mahalaxmi completed her post graduation in Endodontics from Govt. Dental College, Ahmedabad, Gujarat in   the   year   1986 and has been practicing since April 1987. She has been associated with academics for the past 20   years  and is at present the Head, Dept of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, SRM Dental College, Chennai.   She  specializes in full mouth   rehabilitation, root canal treatments and tooth colored restorations. She keeps   herself  updated with the current trends by attending various courses. She herself conducts many courses on   Endodontics,  restorative dentistry & Laser dentistry. Born on 29th May 1963, Dr. S. Mahalaxmi is interested in Music and is fond of  reading.

› Executive committee member of IDA, Madras branch in the years 1993-94 and 1994-95 and 1998-99. She is a member of both the Federation of Operative Dentistry of India (FODI) & the Indian Endodontic Society (IES) since  10 years. She has served on the Executive Committee of the FODI twice.

› She was the Organizing Secretary of the XXII FODI & XV IES Annual Conference, November 23-25, 2007, held for  the first time in its history at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

› She is currently the President of the Federation of Operative Dentistry of India, the parent Endodontic organization in the country (2008-2009).

Dr. R. Vasudevan, MDS graduated from Govt. Dental College, Chennai in the year. He is a certified BPS user, having an exclusive practice in BPS complete dentures. A very humble person by nature, his geriatric patients are very fond of him. The dentures he delivers are both functional and of good esthetics. He is running a certified BPS laboratory in Chennai. He is the first and the only Asian Dentist to clear the BPS Instructor exam in Liechtenstein. He won the 3rd prize in the international denture competition held in Switzerland in 2007. He had given Guest   Lectures in  Evaluation of cleft &  craniofacial  anomalies,distraction for the cleft patient,cleft mid-face distraction &   hemifacial  microsomia. He had authored 4 national & 4 i nternational Publications. He was awarded Scholarship   by   Smile  Train,  U.S.A , best scientific presentation (3rd   position) in the National Conference of Oral &   Maxillofacial  Surgeons,2004,Dr.M.S.N.Ginwalla Trophy for best scientific presentation in 2005.

She was awarded the 2nd best outgoing student from Ragas Dental College ,best scientific presentation (2nd position) in 2004,best scientific presentation Dr. M.M.Cooper Award ,2007.She has registered as part time scholar for Ph.D & has ongoing research projects in cleft pathogenesis,Retro- molar Artery, importance of folic acid in cleft prophylaxis.

He is serving SRM Dental College & as consultant laser dental surgeon, Apollo dental Center, Honorary faculty, Soceity for Oral Laser Application, India. He is the 1st South Indian doctor to attain Masters in Laser Application. He is also the 2nd Indian doctor to practice with four different dental laser wavelengths.
